Come Look With Me: American Indian Art is one of the titles in Lickle Publishing's Come Look With Me Series of art appreciation books. The book's author selected 12 Native American historic objects made from a variety of media. The colour photograph of each object occupies a full page and on the opposing page there are a series of questions inviting students to examine the work. Included are brief paragraphs about the cultural and historical context of each art piece and its creator. The works include a Nez Perce beaded horse mask; Hopi Kachina dolls; a Ledger-style illustration by Lakota artist Black Hawk; a Seneca cornhusk doll by Clara Red Eye; a fringed buckskin boy's shirt created by a woman of the Crow Nation; a Passamaquoddy model canoe by Tomah Joseph; an Anasazi petroglyph; a Pawnee drum; a stone wood-duck effigy bowl from an Alabama archaeological site; a cedar house post from a Haida longhouse; a Tlingit cedar hat; and Yup'ik dance fans.
