First Nations Public Library Week, which takes place in February each year, celebrates the First Nations’ traditional snow-on-the-ground time for storytelling. This year’s theme is Knowledge Keepers. First Nation librarians promote their resources and services to their communities through a variety of programs and activities. The Week also encourages all public libraries to join in the celebration by offering programs and displays featuring First Nations content, authors and illustrators.
