For Angela is a dramatic reenactment of racial event that occurred on a bus in Winnipeg. A young girl on her way to school is confronted by bullies as they taunt her because of her Native heritage. The traumatic event is overcome by a determined mother who takes matters in stride after her daughter cuts her long braids in an effort to conceal her heritage. The mother locates the bullies and forces them to take responsibility for their racist actions. One boy emotionally realized the impact of his actions.
