If you know the title (or part of the title), the author's first or last name, or a publisher, type it in the appropriate text box and click the Search icon. The results will then be displayed.

It searches the Title, Author's first and last name, Description and Publisher fields for a keyword or phrase match. This search feature is visible throughout your visit on our site.

How to search using Grade Level

Example 1:

Looking for Grade Six resources? Select Grade Level, Six and click the search icon. Your search will yield the desired resources of all media types (books, cd-roms, cassettes, videos and kits).

How to refine your search using Grade Level and Subject.

Example 2:

Looking for Grade Six resources on environment? Select the Grade Level, Six and also the Subject, Environment then click search icon. This will refine the search significantly. Your search will yield all media types (books, cd-roms, cassettes, videos and kits) that match grade six environment resources.

How to search for a keyword match.

Example A:

Select ‘All’ from the drop-down box, type in the partial spelling of Ojibway (ojibw) in the text box, click the search button. You will see how many titles, authors or descriptions contain the partial spelling ojibw. Notice that different spellings Ojibwa, Ojibway and Ojibwe will also display.

How to refine a keyword to an exact phrase match.

Example B:

Select ‘All’ for the drop-down box, type in the word Ojibway in the text box, click the search button. You will see how many titles, authors or descriptions contain the word Ojibway. If you want to narrow this powerful search, select a title or author only in the drop-down box.
