Jeff, President and a founder of GoodMinds.com, and his wife, Linda, (who, Jeff says, "keeps me organized”) are proud of the way GoodMinds.com has grown since 2000. Both believe strongly in education and that reading a good book holds the power to change lives and create good minds. As they put it, “It all starts with a book”.
However, Jeff and Linda – and their key employees – derive perhaps their greatest satisfaction from the responses received in a recent customer satisfaction survey. The survey showed a great depth of loyalty from their customers. It revealed that some would not shop elsewhere for Aboriginal and general library books, in part due to the trust placed in Sheila Staats' and Marlene Turkington’s reviews of every book before it is made available for sale. The statements spoke of exceptional customer service received consistently from the GoodMinds.com employees at all levels.

Sheila Staats, Aboriginal Peoples' Selection Consultant
Sheila, a Mohawk from Six Nations of the Grand River, is our Aboriginal Peoples Selection Consultant. She has worked in cultural education for more than 20 years, first at the Woodland Cultural Centre Library and now with GoodMinds.com since its inception. Sheila developed the selection criteria for GoodMinds.com’s rigorous standards of offering teachers and librarians the most current, educationally sound, and bias-free resources. Sheila selects and annotates all resources; provides readers' advisory services to customers; writes book reviews; makes presentations to teachers, librarians and education consultants; provides cultural content advice for publishers, and maintains the Aboriginal print catalogue and website content.

Kalvin Fuller, Information Technology
Kalvin has kept the GoodMinds.com computer system in perfect running order since joining us in the spring of 2004. With nearly 30 years of Information Technology (IT) experience behind him, he is an expert at keeping GoodMinds.com ahead of the ever-changing technological curve of the book sales industry. Prior to IT, Kalvin worked as a nurse.
GoodMinds.com employs 10 Inside Sales staff to work by telephone with teachers and librarians from coast-to-coast-to-coast. These salespeople specialize in the Top Picks program, and keep our customers up-to-date on the latest spring and Fall Top Picks books selections.
