Woodland Spirits DVD is a 28-minute film about the art of Ojibwe and Oji-Cree artists Roy Thomas, Moses Beaver, Andrew Machendagoos, and Gelineau Fisher. This DVD shows the connection of three generations of Woodland-style artists to their mentor Roy Thomas and to the cultural heritage of Northern Ontario First Nations. Louise Thomas, wife of the late Roy Thomas (1949-2004), introduces viewers to her husband's artwork in the Ahnisnabae Art Gallery. His style of painting was influenced by the traditional stories of the Ojibwe as well as the traditional art images as seen in pictographs.
