Marjorie Henry for students at Six Nations Polytechnic. The Kit consists of an 18-page booklet and a 78-minute audiocassette. The book gives the Cayuga words for 347 English phrases. The Kit assists students to increase their vocabulary and to become proficient in the Cayuga language. The text uses the Henry Orthography developed at Six Nations of the Grand River. Students will find some of the phrases are complete sentences. For example questions and replies are often a single word when spoken in Cayuga. On the audiocassette, G. Marjorie Henry clearly pronounces each Cayuga phrase twice after the English phrase. An English phrase index is provided in the book making this a valuable resource package for the beginner or teacher. Recommended for anyone learning or teaching Cayuga.
