UNAVAILABLE This kit is no longer available from GoodMinds.com Ganohonyohk Our Being Ogweho:weh is a language resource developed by G. Marjorie Henry for Cayuga language classes at Six Nations Polytechnic. The kit consists of a 56-page book and a 16-minute audiocassette. The Cayuga words are written in the Henry Orthography developed at Six Nations of the Grand River. The illustrated resource booklet and audiocassette were created for students learning Ganohonyohk, the speech of thanksgiving recited at all Iroquois functions. The text is organized by section with the Cayuga first and the English translation below. The Short Version of Giving Thanks and the Short Version of the Farewell Speech are also included. The audiocassette consists of the Short Version, Farewell, and Long Version. G. Marjorie Henry recorded these speeches in Cayuga. Each speech is clearly spoken and follows the text making this kit a vital language resource for anyone learning Cayuga. The book and audiocassette can be purchased separately.
