| Anishnaabemowin: Nursery/Day Care Programs Language Booklet and CD consists of a 28-page booklet about the nursery/day care program offered by the Wikwemikong Board of Education. This Anishinaabe Language Immersion Programming began in 2005. This booklet offers a look at the Ojibwe language program and offers work lists such as months of the year, a Thank You Creator Prayer, bus arrival routine, lockers, attendance, washroom routine, breakfast and snack programs, and outdoor play. The booklet also includes an Anishnaabemowin Sound Chart, a how to be an Immersion Parent checklist, the daycare timetable, and the daycare curriculum. An accompanying CD is part of this package. Included in this book and CD are children's songs that relate to each month and can be sung in school programming or home. |
