Dr. Anne Anderson's Metis Cree Dictionary CD-ROM is an interesting attempt by a Metis Cree language teacher to devise an English/Cree and Cree/English language dictionary for the Cree "Y" dialect. In 1975 Anderson translated a Winston English dictionary into Cree. The result has been reprinted as Dr. Anne Anderson's Metis Cree Dictionary. She includes a brief introduction to the Cree language and ?Y? dialect phonetics. The dictionary is organized in English/Cree and Cree/English sections. This CD-ROM is simply the electronic version of the book and does not contain audio or video.
