Verb Roots in the Mohawk Language was produced by Chief Jacob Thomas for a second year Native Studies course he taught at Trent University. The key to learning the Mohawk language begins with an understanding of the importance of verb roots. This package presents the declension for 12 verb roots with their various prefixes, suffixes, and tenses. Examples for male/female first person singular/dual/plural, male/female second person singular/dual/plural, feminine/masculine singular/dual/plural are provided.
